Professional Development in Early Childhood

Charlotte and I have worked together to customize professional development for many local and statewide initiatives including South Carolina State Department of Education Work Sampling Program, Maryland Model for School Readiness, and the School District of Palm Beach County. For the latter, we assisted the district in identifying literacy performance exemplars for grades K - 5.

Project
Facilitating Engagement in the Classroom

I am working with Michael Wilkinson of Leadership Strategies, Inc. to identify strategies teachers use to facilitate engagement in the classroom. We have co-authored an article appearing in the March Issue of young children on the subject. In addition, we can provide workshops or keynotes on the subject of engaging students in the classroom.
